Zhik LIGHTWEIGHT HIGH CUT BOOT

An evolution of the original and best-selling Zhik dinghy boot the latest high cut boot is a true realization of everything Zhik has learnt from working with some of the world’s greatest sailors. An identity is imparted using a high grip non-marking flouro yellow sole and lacing while the moulded upper, heel cup and oversized ankle strap provide excellent support during periods of high activity. Improvements over the original include a quick lock lacing system, low profile ankle strap, reinforced mid sole and improved shape for a firmer and closer fit that minimises chafing and provides even more support. The 2mm neoprene construction combined with the lacing system allow the boot to work through all seasons as the fit of the entire boot can be tailored to a neoprene sock however, being 2mm this boot is lighter weight and has a slimmed down sole (without reducing tread depth) to maximize feedback and connect you more directly to the boat.

Features:

  • Improved grip – Unique compound Zhik sole with an emphasis on unbeatable grip.
  • 2mm neoprene with low profile sole – increased feel and feedback
  • Quick lock lacing – for faster access and exit from your boots
  • Optimised ankle strap – for additional support
  • Moulded sole with arch support – ergonomic shaping and reinforcement for our most comfortable dinghy boot to date
  • Optimised for high performance sailing – lightweight, supportive, flexible and high grip sole.
  • Outsole: 100% Rubber, Mid-sole: 80% Neoprene, 20% Nylon, Upper: 70% Neoprene, 20% Nylon, 10% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

    Zhik high cut lightweight boot

Great boots for hiking, the only issue is that the foot area is quite wide. I have wide feet and still have a ton of room. Where the closure hits your leg, it scratches a bit, trying to think what I need to do about that since I wear a 3/4 hiking suit.
