High-Performance Double Braid Made from 100% Recycled Polyester
Marlow Blue Ocean® Doublebraid combines reliable performance, easy handling, and sustainable construction in a versatile line designed for a wide range of sailing applications. Made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, both the core and cover use 100% recycled polyester without sacrificing the strength and performance sailors expect from Marlow Ropes.
The heat-set braid-on-braid construction delivers excellent strength with reduced stretch compared to similar polyester lines. Its flexible construction and soft feel make it easy to handle through blocks and around the boat, making Blue Ocean® Doublebraid an excellent choice for sheets, halyards, control lines, vangs, reefing lines, furlers, and other general-purpose rigging applications.
Blue Ocean® Doublebraid is also easily spliceable, allowing for clean, low-profile terminations without the bulk and potential strength reduction associated with knots.
